The Metrologic Optimus scanner works as a handheld scanning unit enabling easy to manage inventory control. When inventory arrives, simply walk over to scan your new product then easily transfer the data file to your PC inventory program for fresh updated inventory levels.

The Optimus is intended to interface to a PC for inventory control and not to a cash register.
